About Federal Credit Unions

Find a credit union near you

Chances are, you're eligible to join a credit union in your area, either by virtue of where you work, where you live or an organization you belong to. If one of your family members already belongs to a credit union, you may be eligible to join as well.

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the government agency that regulates federally insured credit unions, maintains a nationwide database of credit unions.  You can search NCUA's online database, by city and state, or by credit union name.

You can also link to NAFCU-member credit unions that have Web sites in the Membership area of our site in Member Links.

NAFCU members can also search our online Directory for the names of other NAFCU-member credit unions and credit union personnel. Note: you must login before using this search tool.
