Carrie Hunt
Senior Counsel/Director of Regulatory Affairs

Carrie Hunt is Senior Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU). Ms. Hunt acts as staff liaison to the federal regulatory agencies, assists in handling the development and implementation of NAFCU's regulatory policies, and conducts analysis, interpretation and explanation of policy issues impacting NAFCU's members.  She also analyzes and manages litigation for NAFCU.  Prior to her current position at NAFCU, Ms. Hunt was Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs.

Also, before joining NAFCU, Ms. Hunt worked as the legal counsel to Massachusetts State Senator Andrea Nuciforo, Jr., Senate Chairman of the Joint Committee on Banks and Banking, where she delved deeply into credit union and financial services issues.  Most recently, Ms. Hunt worked as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.  Ms. Hunt is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park and William and Mary School of Law.  She is a member of the Virginia and Massachusetts Bars.
