Jennifer Wahlen
Director of Political Affairs

Jennifer Wahlen was named director of political affairs in February 2009.

Wahlen oversees NAFCU/PAC, organizes NAFCU’s grassroots efforts and manages NAFCU’s political strategy. She also participates in the association’s lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill.

She joined NAFCU in February 2007 as legislative/PAC assistant before being named associate director of political affairs in October 2007.  

Prior to joining NAFCU, Wahlen was a staffer for former Rep. Phil English, R-Pa. She holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in government studies from The Johns Hopkins University.
