2010 is going to be a challenging year for credit union regulatory compliance. With multiple compliance deadlines approaching, it’s essential that your credit union take the time to focus on the impact of these amendments and prepare for changes you’ll need to make in your operations.
Join the experts from NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance Team for an interactive, online learning experience, where you will get:
- A general overview of the new changes to Regulation Z; the impact of the February 22 deadline and answers to the most common questions concerning the final rule;
- Guidance on how to comply with new changes to Regulation E and Truth in Savings that affect overdraft protection programs, the latest guidance from the Federal Reserve, the transactions that will and will not be covered and how your credit union is covered, even though you may not have a formal overdraft protection program; and
- If time allows, information on any late-breaking, major compliance developments.
With changes to the FFIEC Bank Secrecy Act manual expected, as well as the possibility of new rules concerning the SAFE Act, NAFCU’s compliance attorneys will reserve time within this webcast to address a timely compliance-related topic to ensure you’re up-to-date on new developments from the regulators and Washington.
NAFCU’s compliance team will be available during the webcast to answer your individual questions. With the scope and importance of these rules, this webcast will have an extended question and answer time so that everyone's questions will be answered.
