Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Reporting
January 9, 2008 Webcast
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time
The Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), enacted by Congress in 1975 and implemented by the Federal Reserve Board's Regulation C, requires most mortgage lenders to collect data about their housing-related lending activity, report the data annually to the government, and make the data publicly available.
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) assessed Civil Money Penalties against 38 federally insured credit unions that were late in submitting 2005 and 2006 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data. Ensure that your credit union has the information needed to file your reports correctly and on time, by the March 1, 2008 deadline! Register today for NAFCU's January 9, HMDA Webcast to get important information on filing your 2007 reports!
