Credit unions have a number of questions concerning changes that are coming with the mandatory January 1, 2010 RESPA compliance deadline. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from Vicki B. Bott, deputy assistant secretary of single family programs, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Ms. Bott is a resident expert on RESPA and will be presenting with FHA Commissioner David H. Stevens. She will be ready to answer your questions and concerns, including:

New fee tolerances;

Timing of disclosures;

How RESPA intersects with Regulation Z;

How "changed circumstances" can allow for a revised Good Faith Estimate; and more!

In addition, as Federal Housing Administration takes on a larger role working with credit unions, you'll also benefit from valuable insights on FHA’s views and direction in the current market from Commissioner David H. Stevens. Learn how recent changes at the FHA will affect your credit union and the financial services industry, including:

The future of FHA under new leadership;

The policies, programs and priorities of FHA; and

The FHA capital reserves, risk management, foreclosure prevention and consumer protection initiatives – such as the implementation of new Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) requirements scheduled to take effect January 1.
