The Credit Union Foundation of MD & DC is offering tuition reimbursement scholarships to credit unions with under $75 million in assets to attend training courses of the credit unions' choosing.

Credit unions may apply for a 75% tuition reimbursement for staff or volunteer training fees for programs that enable the credit union to better serve their members and communities.

The Inn is named for Washington Duke (1820-1905), a classic example of the American dream. From his modest beginnings as a soldier, Duke prospered to become an internationally known industrialist and philanthropist. Since then, the Duke family name has represented excellence and achievement in Durham, North Carolina.

 

Continuing a proud legacy, the Inn opened in 1988 in the style of an old English Country Inn. The Inn is the only 4-diamond hotel in Durham that also features a 4-diamond dining room. As part of Duke University, the Inn overlooks the University’s renowned golf club and offers many on-campus activities. Work out at the fitness center, cheer some of the nation’s finest collegiate teams or enjoy an exciting “Broadway at Duke” performance.

 

The Inn is near Duke University Medical Center, Research Triangle Park and Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Local attractions include historic sites, science centers, famous gardens and art museums.

The nearest airport is Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU). Cabs from RDU cost roughly $30 each way.

 

Amtrak has stations in Durham (DNC), Raleigh (RGH) and Cary (CYN). Durham is the closest station to the Washington Duke Inn.
