This five-module, five-day program is created by credit union professionals for credit union professionals and designed to prepare students for the five certification examinations needed to earn the designation of NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO). The School offers new compliance professionals comprehensive training on regulatory compliance.
The curriculum is based on "NAFCU's Compliance Guide for Credit Unions". Students receive the guide ($499 value) FREE with registration.

Jane Pannier, Esq., NCCO, Partner, The Rochdale Group
Jane Pannier is a partner with The Rochdale Group, formerly Counter Intelligence Associates. The Rochdale Group (TRG) is a full service consulting firm for financial institutions. Prior to joining TRG, Ms. Pannier served as Senior Compliance Counsel for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) and Director of their Regulatory Compliance Department. While at NAFCU, Ms. Pannier developed and implemented the NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) program.
Her knowledge in all areas of legal and regulatory compliance for financial institutions brings a wealth of information to clients of TRG. In addition to her expertise in these fields, Ms. Pannier has had experience as a credit union CEO and, prior to that was employed by credit unions in the positions of credit manager, director of research and development, and vice president of marketing.
Ms. Pannier holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Towson University and a juris doctorate from the University of Maryland, School of Law. Ms. Pannier is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Pannier currently serves as both facilitator and faculty member for NAFCU’s Compliance Certification School.
Ms. Pannier is a frequent speaker throughout the United States in all areas of credit union compliance, lending, management, and operations.

The Westin Alexandria is located in historic Old Town Alexandria, VA. Located in the exclusive Carlyle section, the hotel is three blocks from the King Street Metro station, five miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport, and eight miles from downtown Washington, D.C., ideally situated for your visit to the Washington/Alexandria area.
Room Rates: $209 (plus 10.5% tax, plus $1 per night occupancy tax)
To guarantee this rate, rooms must be booked by Friday, March 7, 2008. Room reservations received after the deadline will be confirmed subject to rate and room availability.
Rate will be offered three days before and three days after the conference, subject to availability.
A deposit equal to one night's room rate will be charged to your credit card at the time your reservation is made. Deposits will be refunded if hotel receives notice of your cancellation more than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date.
**Federal credit unions are exempt from tax, if payment is made by the credit union’s official check or credit card. You must present the Tax Exempt Form upon arrival.

NAFCU Regulatory Compliance School provides approximately 24 hours of classroom instruction, or 24 contact hours. Generally, one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is equal to 10 contact hours.
Upon request, NAFCU will issue a certificate of attendance, which can be submitted to certifying organizations for CEU and CPE purposes. NAFCU Certified Compliance Officers (NCCOs) earn all of the continuing education credits they will need for recertification without retesting.
