The Paul Revere Award

The Paul Revere Award is awarded to the credit union grassroots activist of the year. This award is intended for the individual who regularly and effectively trumpets the battle cry of the credit union community just as Paul Revere did in his day. The award is based on the grassroots contacts that have been made by individuals and reported to NAFCU. The award will be presented at NAFCU's 2008 Congressional Caucus.
Eligibility
The following criteria must be met to be a candidate for The Paul Revere Award:

Candidates for The Paul Revere Award should have held at least two meetings during 2007 or 2008 with each of their members of Congress (two Senators and one Representative). These meetings can include meetings with congressional staff, town hall meetings, fundraisers, meetings in Washington, and of course, meetings in the local district or state offices.
Note: Special consideration will be given to those individuals who have invited their members of Congress for credit union tours or are politically active either with congressional campaigns, or organizing and attending political fundraisers.
