CULOOKUP.COM KICKS OFF “THE GREAT CREDIT UNION CONTEST” Participants eligible to win Discover® gift cards and prizes
WASHINGTON — NAFCU Services Corporation (www.nafcu.org/nafcuservices) today announced “The Great Credit Union Contest” powered by the credit union locator website CULookup.com. The contest offers credit union members the opportunity to share what makes their credit union great and compete for an assortment of prizes, including $500 Discover® gift cards. Eligible credit union members can enter the contest, which runs through July 7, 2010, by submitting a form online at www.CULookup.com/contest. Contestants are asked to submit a short essay or video explaining in their own words why their credit union is great. Consumers who are not credit union members are encouraged to find a credit union to join on www.CULookup.com and then enter the contest. “Credit unions have gained in popularity because people have come to appreciate the excellent service and low fees they offer,” said David Frankil, president of NAFCU Services Corporation. “Members of credit unions are more than willing to help other consumers discover the benefits of joining one. That’s what ‘The Great Credit Union Contest’ is about—bringing together those positive sentiments and sharing them to help further extol the virtues of credit unions.” NAFCU Services Corporation will post winning entries on CULookup.com following the contest as testimonials to help further promote the benefits of credit unions to consumers.
