The Product

In our long history, we've come to understand that members both expect, and appreciate, the ancillary products that their trusted credit unions offer. These programs increase account acquisition, retention, engagement and profitability. In fact, almost 90% of members say these programs improve the relationship they have with their credit union. 

Affinion's Member Appreciation Program allows credit unions to offer their members a complimentary policy of $1,000, with the option to purchase additional AD&D coverage. Members are covered in the event of loss of life, limb, sight, speech, or hearing, due to a covered accident. Because no underwriting is involved, physical examinations and lengthy application forms are not required, and no one over age 18 can be turned down for coverage. 

A significant majority of consumers surveyed say that they would consider purchasing insurance from their credit union or financial institution. By handling the marketing and member service components, Affinion offers a turnkey approach for our credit union partners to offer the programs that members are asking for. 

The Marketing 

We offer diverse marketing methods-customized online enrollments, superior creative, and an aggressive marketing frequency-enhance member longevity with steady fee generation for our clients. Typically, we mail each credit union file no less than twice each and every year-an initial campaign with a 90-day follow-up. Every Strategy is approved by the client, in order to meet any unique specification or limits.    

Affinion boasts one of the world's largest databases of member information and behavioral data. The bevy of Statistics PHD's roaming our halls is able to use our proprietary information to generate a significant increase in ROI for each and every marketing campaign we undertake on our partners' behalf. Our industry leading, state-of-the-art modeling, coupled with our philosophy of testing, tracking, measuring and improving our marketing offers, can lead to as much as a 20% increase in response rate over our competitors.
