Cordray headlines April 24 webcast

April 13, 2012 – Richard Cordray, head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, will talk to credit unions about his vision for the new agency during a special, free NAFCU webcast slated to run from 2-2:45 p.m. Eastern on April 24.

Cordray will also talk to participants about the CFPB's impact on credit unions as it works to protect consumers of financial services. Registration is free and open to all credit unions, regardless of charter type or whether they are members of NAFCU. Participants will be able to ask their questions directly.

Carrie Hunt, NAFCU's vice president of regulatory affairs and general counsel, will moderate the program.
