Guinta added to House Financial Services

Aug. 3, 2012 – The House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday voted to approve Rep. Frank Guinta, R-N.H., as a member of the panel.

Guinta fills the vacancy created with the departure of Rep. Thad McCotter, R-Mich. McCotter planned to run for reelection but didn’t make the deadline for getting onto the ballot. He then resigned his House seat. This was his fifth term.

Guinta, completing his first House term, will also serve on the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.
