June 28, 2012 - NAFCU members have until tomorrow to submit their survey responses for inclusion in July’s issue of the Economic and CU Issues Monitor.
July’s survey topic is challenges facing credit unions. Some of the specific issues addressed in the survey questions include the Credit Card Act, NCUA’s capital requirements and access to secondary liquidity.
Other survey topics covered this year include legislative issues, regulatory challenges, financial literacy, commercial lending, lending overall and credit unions’ expectations for 2012.
NAFCU is encouraging its members to participate in these surveys. The greater the level of NAFCU member participation, the more accurate the findings will be. Survey respondents will receive a summary of results so they can compare their own credit union’s performance with peers.
NAFCU’s research staff sent a reminder early this week for the July survey. Questions about the survey should be sent to research@nafcu.org.
