Webcast Dec. 12 on CFPB and 2013
Credit unions will learn what the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has in store for themnext year during NAFCU's Dec. 12 webcast, "CFPB Update: Credit Union Expectations for 2013."
The webcast speaker, attorney Suzanne Garwood, will give webcast participants a look at how the CFPB's regulatory and enforcement actions on credit unions and what regulatory developments are expected at the bureau in the year ahead.
Webcast topics include:
supervisory efforts and potential enforcement actions;
- CFPB's remittance rule, which takes effect Feb. 7;
- the bureau's proposed credit-card rule change affecting spousal income;
- regulatory changes affecting mortgage lending and disclosures.
