Oct. 31, 2012 – NAFCU’s offices reopen for business today after two days of closings due to Hurricane Sandy.
Staff have the option of taking unscheduled leave, but the association will remain operational, as it has over the past two days. Staff worked remotely and were able to maintain communications with members and coworkers via phone and email on Monday and Tuesday.
NCUA staff also worked remotely, sending out announcements regarding the closing of U.S. Central Bridge Corporate FCU and its disaster assistance efforts despite two days of closings for federal government offices.
Federal government offices reopen today.
