Oct. 19, 2012 – Mark Treichel will become NCUA's executive director Dec. 30.
“NAFCU has enjoyed a long and productive working relationship with Treichel on credit union regulatory and examination matters,” said association President and CEO Fred Becker. “We congratulate Mark on his new appointment.”
Treichel, currently director of NCUA’s Region I office in Albany, N.Y., will succeed David Marquis, who is set to retire at the end of 2012 after 34 years with the agency. NCUA announced Treichel's appointment Thursday.
