Sept. 26, 2012 – NAFCU President and CEO Fred Becker, Regulatory Affairs Counsel Tessema Tefferi and Associate Director of Legislative Affairs/Military Liaison Quincy Enoch were at the Department of Defense Tuesday to discuss the association’s work with defense credit unions.
The three met with Charles Milam, recently installed as the acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy. The meeting continued NAFCU’s long-running dialog with DoD regarding defense credit unions’ service to military servicemembers and their families.
Milam noted DoD’s continued interest in hearing the concerns and suggestions defense credit unions have regarding their service to armed forces families.
