Berger urges CUs to fill out NAFCU survey
Aug. 27, 2013 – NAFCU President and CEO B. Dan Berger encourages NAFCU members to fill out the 2013 Annual Report on Credit Unions survey by Sept. 16.
“This survey will provide critical data as NAFCU’s Board of Directors prepares for its meeting with the Federal Reserve Board hosted by [Fed] Governor Jeremy Stein and senior Federal Reserve staff members,” Berger wrote in his email to members yesterday. “NAFCU’s annual meeting with the Federal Reserve is one of the more important ways we ensure that our members’ concerns are heard at the highest levels of government.”
This year’s survey focuses on lending standards, housing government-sponsored enterprises, qualified mortgage requirements, remittance transfer requirements under Regulation E and debit card interchange fees. The survey also solicits input on member credit unions’ use of the Federal Reserve’s services for financial institutions.
The survey results will be summarized in our annual Report on Credit Unions and survey respondents will receive a complimentary copy of the report later this year.
All survey responses are due Sept. 16. Members can complete the survey online, or they may print, complete and mail it back to NAFCU.
