NCUA to hold webinars for small CUs
Aug. 23, 2013 – NCUA announced it would hold two free webinars in September on strategy and underwriting issues for small credit unions.
The webinars will feature guidance from staff at NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives and its Division of Special Actions from Region IV. The first webinar is titled “Strategy and Policy,” and is scheduled for Sept. 17, and the second, “Underwriting,” will be held on Sept. 25.
According to CU Journal, the staff will “explain the agency’s requirements for a successful member business lending program” during the webinars, and also feature a “credit union business development specialist who will discuss, step-by-step, how to start a safe and sound program.”
Participants will be able to submit questions for the hosts in advance.
