Dec. 31, 2013 – Today is the deadline for NAFCU members who want to participate in this month's Economic & CU Monitorsurvey, which focuses on developments affecting the credit union business model.

The survey includes questions about mergers, expanding fields of membership and the offering of new products to credit union members. It also asks respondents if their credit unions have recently dealt with patent infringement issues, such as demand letters from law firms.

The NAFCU economic and research team reports on survey responses in the Economic & CU Monitor, which gives NAFCU members a glimpse of trends affecting the credit union industry as a whole. Survey results are used in NAFCU's advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill and with regulatory agencies such as NCUA, CFPB and the Federal Reserve.
