FinCEN seeks BSA advisory group nominees
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network is inviting nominations of financial institutions and trade groups for representation on the Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group.
The BSA Advisory Group chaired by the FinCEN director and makes policy recommendations to the Treasury secretary on issues considered by the group regarding operations of the Bank Secrecy Act. It includes representatives of financial institutions, trade groups, and federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
The notice inviting nominations was published in the Dec. 26 Federal Register. Nominations are due Jan. 27.
NAFCU members interested in serving on the advisory group should send an email to Mike Coleman, NAFCU's director of regulatory affairs, at mcoleman@nafcu.org.
