NAFCU member call-in today offers 2013 review

Dec. 12, 2013 – NAFCU will hold its "Year-End Wrap-Up" member-only call-in today, providing member credit unions a comprehensive review of the most important legislative, regulatory, compliance and economic issues to arise in 2013 and as a preview of what challenges lie ahead in 2014.

NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger, as well as other senior staff, will discuss the year in review and provide updates on the latest developments from lawmakers and regulators, along with NAFCU's analysis.

The call will focus on the past year's regulations and NAFCU's progress in fighting for regulatory relief. Staff will also address plans for advocating credit unions' top priorities in the coming year. Legislative and regulatory developments on housing finance reform and protection of the credit union tax exemption are also slated for discussion.

In addition to Berger, the call will include remarks by NAFCU Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt, Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler, Director of Regulatory Affairs Mike Coleman and others.

Participation in the call, set for 4-5 p.m. Eastern, is free as a benefit of membership in NAFCU. Registration is required.
