NCUA webinar Jan. 24 on HMDA reporting
Representatives from NCUA's Office of Consumer Protection and the Federal Reserve Board will discuss how to ensure timely, accurate reporting under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act during a free Jan. 24 webinar hosted by the credit union regulator.
Set for 2 p.m. Eastern, the Jan. 24 program will focus on HMDA requirements for the mortgage loan/application register that is prepared each year. Experts from NCUA and the Fed will:
- address common errors identified in HMDA LAR data and submissions;
- provide tips for preparing and submitting accurate and timely LARs; and
- discuss financial institution management responsibilities in the HMDA process.
