Jan. 3, 2013 – Representatives from NCUA’s Office of Consumer Protection and the Federal Reserve Board will discuss how to ensure timely, accurate reporting under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act during a free Jan. 24 webinar hosted by the credit union regulator.
Set for 2 p.m. Eastern, the Jan. 24 program will focus on HMDA requirements for the mortgage loan/application register that is prepared each year. Experts from NCUA and the Fed will:
- address common errors identified in HMDA LAR data and submissions;
- provide tips for preparing and submitting accurate and timely LARs; and
- discuss financial institution management responsibilities in the HMDA process.
