Regulatory Compliance School savings until Friday
Registration discounts are in effect through Friday on NAFCU's Regulatory Compliance School, where credit union staff will learn how to navigate the churning seas of regulatory compliance requirements.
Slated March 18-23 in National Harbor, Md., this year's school willprovide a strong foundation for any credit union staff involved in their institutions' regulatory compliance responsibilities. "It will also help them develop skills for managing new compliance changes as they arise," said Steve Van Beek, NAFCU's director of regulatory compliance. "The School is a critical asset in striving to meet the challenges of the increasingly complex regulatory landscape."
Van Beek andthe rest of the association's compliance team are participating in this year's school. Topics covered will include federal credit union bylaws, share insurance, the E-SIGN Act, Regulation Z and other federal financial institution rules. Attendees will have the option to take four exams to earn certification as NAFCU Certified Compliance Officers.
The Regulatory Compliance School takes place at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center andis open to NAFCU members and nonmembers. Attendees will receive a free copy of NAFCU's 2013 Credit Union Compliance GPS.
