March 12, 2013 – The CFPB is scheduled to hold a field hearing on its Office of Consumer Response Consumer Complaint Database March 28 in Des Moines, Iowa, the bureau said in a
blog post.
The field hearing will feature remarks from CFPB Director Richard Cordray, the bureau said in its “save the date” blog post. Testimony from consumer groups, industry representatives and members of the public is also slated.
The bureau says more information is to come. The event is open to the public and requires an RSVP. Those interested can do so via email to cfpb.events@cfpb.gov; include the person’s full name and organizational affiliation (if any).
In January, the CFPB held two field hearings on mortgage policy. NAFCU was represented at both of those field hearings.
