March 14, 2013 – Members are loyal to experiences, not companies, and credit unions need an integrated approach to effectively manage different types of media, NCR’s Sundeep Kapur, told attendees at NAFCU’s 2013 Strategic Growth Conference in New Orleans on Wednesday.
Wednesday was part one of the two-day session, “Leveraging the Power of Integrated Media Workshop,” which was led by Kapur, integrated media strategist for NCR, a NAFCU Services Preferred Partner. Kapur emphasized the need for credit unions to develop an integrated media blueprint to help maximize their members’ experiences. He also discussed the importance of conducting a communications audit and outlined examples of successes and failures in managing communications.
The day’s activities also included a breakfast session sponsored by Prime Alliance, a NAFCU Services Preferred Partner, which highlighted NAFCU’s 2013 Marketing Award Winners. Wednesday also offered a panel discussion on how credit unions can refocus their websites into ecommerce sites, and sessions on prepaid cards, bank purchases and putting passion and purpose in business development.
The three-day conference concludes today with a networking breakfast, followed by part two of Kapur’s “Leveraging the Power of Integrated Media Workshop.”
