NCUA webinar with CFPB Director Richard Cordray and NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz is now available online.

March 12, 2013 – A recent NCUA webinar featuring NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz and CFPB Director Richard Cordray is now available online, the agency announced Monday. 

The webinar, which originally aired Feb. 5, includes discussion about NCUA’s plans to issue a proposed rule on derivatives in the first six months of the year, and the CFPB’s expectations that it will finalize its international remittance rule sometime during the first quarter.

Other topics discussed include the CFPB’s mortgage servicing rules, NCUA’s regulatory modernization initiative, implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act; and the CFPB’s proposed overdraft regulations.

Over 1,700 participants joined the 90-minute webinar when it was held on Feb. 5, NCUA said. The agency has also made the webinar’s audio, presentation slides, written transcript and additional questions and answers available online.
