Berger, Thaler in The Hill’s ‘top lobbyists’
B. Dan Berger Brad Thaler
Oct. 31, 2013 – The Hill, one of Capitol Hill’s premier publications, included NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler in its 2013 list of top association lobbyists.
This is the 11th year Berger has received the designation and the sixth for Thaler.
“Though it is nice to be recognized again as one of the top lobbyists in Washington, the credit and honor goes to the entire NAFCU legislative affairs team, who put in a lot of long hours and late nights on Capitol Hill,” said Berger. “Brad and I both appreciate the acknowledgement, and this renews our vigor to continue advocating for credit unions with members of Congress and the administration.”
In its “top lobbyists” round-up, The Hill reports, “Berger, who went from the group’s top lobbyist to its leader earlier this year, is working with Thaler to ensure credit unions get a fair shake in new mortgage regulations.”
