NCUA names Scott Neat to head supervision
Oct. 21, 2013 – D. Scott Neat has been selected as NCUA’s next director of supervision in the agency’s Office of Examination and Insurance, agency Board Chairman Debbie Matz announced Friday.
Neat will take up his new post Nov. 3. He succeeds Matthew Biliouris, who was named deputy director of the NCUA Office of Consumer Protection in July. The supervision division oversees NCUA’s examination and supervision program.
Currently a supervisory examiner based in Memphis, Neat joined NCUA as an examiner in 1987. In 1990, he accepted a position as a supervision analyst in the agency’s Region III office in Atlanta. He was a problem case officer in Region III’s special actions division from 1992 to 2007.
Neat holds a degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky.
