NAFCU ready for Consumer Advisory Board meeting
Sept. 5, 2013 – NAFCU’s regulatory affairs team has blocked out time to monitor the public meeting slated Sept. 18 by the CFPB Consumer Advisory Board in Jackson, Miss.
The board holds an all-day meeting that day, with discussion from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Eastern held open to the public. That discussion will focus on access to credit, information and financial resources.
NAFCU urged early on that the advisory board hold open sessions.
Speakers during the public portion of the meeting will include CFPB Director Richard Cordray, Deputy Director Steve Antonakes, Office of Financial Empowerment Assistant Director Cliff Rosenthal and Mortgage Data Assets Team Lead Ren Essene.
