CEOs Conference focuses on decisions

April 2, 2014 – Attendees at NAFCU's CEOs and Senior Executives Conference today will hear from keynote speaker Peter Sheahan on the four layers of the decision-making process, and how executives can influence their organization's response to change.

The conference, which focuses on leadership, income opportunities and cybersecurity, began yesterday in Charleston, S.C. Yesterday, attendees had the option of participating in the annual Networking Golf Tournament, sponsored by NAFCU Services Corporation, or a half-day tour of Charleston and the surrounding sights.

In addition to Sheahan, today's sessions include a presentation from keynoter Andy Stefanovich, who will focus on improving management and morale, and a discussion of the NAFCU survey results on "What Keeps You Awake at Night," which focused on the major concerns being faced by CEOs and executives across the country. Attendees today will also learn about the attributes of high performing credit unions from Filene Research Institute CEO Mark Meyer. NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger will also speak on the state of the industry, and NAFCU's top priorities.

Tomorrow, attendees will hear from NCUA Board Member Richard Metsger, as well as a cybersecurity expert Jacob Olcott, who will discuss the latest threats facing credit unions.
