Last day for early-bird Seminar registration
Aug. 22, 2014 – Today is the final day for early-bird registration for NAFCU's Regulatory Compliance Seminar, set for Oct. 14-17 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Md.
Registrants can save $100 by registering for the conference today. The conference is open to members and nonmembers alike, and is an opportunity for NAFCU Certified Compliance Officers (NCCO) to obtain recertification without exams.
In related news, NAFCU Director of Regulatory Compliance JiJi Bahhur wrote a blog post today about Truth in Lending Act/Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act integrated mortgage disclosures final rule, which will become effective in August of next year. The conference will feature remarks from Richard Horn, now a partner at Dentons US LLP, who led the final rulemaking process for the rule at CFPB.
Any credit union employees who work with regulatory compliance issues are encouraged to attend, including executive staff, compliance officers, internal auditors and attorneys.
