Feb. 5 webcast covers CU member complaints

Feb. 3, 2014 – Credit unions participating in NAFCU's Feb. 5 webcast will learn how to respond to member complaints and satisfy NCUA's requirements for documenting the follow-up and resolution of members' criticisms.

Attorney and compliance speaker Michael Waldron, a partner at Ballard Spahr, will talk about how to manage the complaint process while satisfying NCUA regulations and maintaining member loyalty during the webcast, "Getting Complaints: What to Do Next to Safeguard and Improve Your Credit Union." He will discuss what steps credit unions must take to document complaints and how they can use complaints as feedback to spur improvements.

NAFCU webcasts are open to all credit unions, regardless of charter type or membership in NAFCU. They remain available on-demand for up to a year after their broadcast. An unlimited subscription to all webcasts during 2014 is available now.
