Timm named NAFCU Services VP of marketing
Feb. 26, 2014 – Paul Timm is set to join NAFCU Services Corporation March 3 as vice president of marketing, NAFCU Services President Randy Salser announced Tuesday.
“Paul brings 20 years of impressive experience managing brands, launching products, and growing revenues, all with a common foundation of building great partnerships,” said Salser. “His background in marketing, sales, and business development, coupled with his relentless focus on value proposition, will be instrumental in the development of profitable programs for our Preferred Partners and members.”
Before joining NAFCU Services, Timm worked as a marketing strategy consultant where he advised companies ranging from Coca Cola and BBVA Compass Bank to a variety of technology, biotech, healthcare, and industrial firms.
Prior to that, Timm held the position of director of global marketing and sales for Trimble Navigation’s Services Division. He previously served as vice president of marketing and sales for Karl Strauss Brewing Company, Southern California’s largest craft brewing company. He has served on many non-profit boards and continues to provide pro bono marketing advice through Compass DC and Taproot Foundation.
Timm holds an MBA in marketing and finance from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.A. in English and communications from Texas State University-San Marcos.
