Both NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz and Board Member Rick Metsger will attend the sessions. The sessions, all scheduled 1-4 p.m. local time, are slated:

  • June 26 in Los Angeles, cohosted by NCUA's Region 5 office;
  • July 10 in Chicago, cohosted by the agency's Regions 3 and 4 offices;
  • July 17 in Alexandria, cohosted by the Regions 1 and 2 offices.

These sessions are free and open to anyone who wishes to register, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

NCUA, in its announcement Thursday, said the sessions will be open to any topics related to NCUA "and will take place before NCUA's proposed risk-based capital rule is finalized."

NAFCU is encouraging its member credit unions to participate.
