Fannie Mae's Doug Duncan at NAFCU A.C.

May 2, 2014 – Fannie Mae Senior Vice President and Chief Economist Doug Duncan has joined the list of speakers scheduled for NAFCU's Annual Conference and Solutions Expo this July, to be held in Las Vegas.

Duncan is responsible for managing Fannie's Economic and Strategic Research Group and provides all economic, housing and mortgage market forecasts and analyses for the company. He has been named one of Bloomberg/BusinessWeek's "50 Most Powerful People in Real Estate" and one of Inman News' "100 Most Inflential Real Estate Leaders."

Duncan's economic forecasts have been praised for their accuracy and accessibility to economists and non-economists alike. His session will focus on how to develop strategies tailored to individual credit unions' operating environments while still staying in synch with national trends, and he will also discuss trends that may impact different regions of the country.

Other keynoters for this year's Annual Conference, slated July 22-26, include "Waiting for ‘Superman' " figure Geoffrey Canada and leadership innovators Dan Rockwell and Lee Wetherington.

NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz, Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives Director William Myers and Office of Examination and Insurance Director Larry Fazio will also speak, along with NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and other top association staff. The conference also offers attendees numerous networking opportunities.

Held at The Venetian Las Vegas Casino, Hotel & Resort, the conference is open to NAFCU members and nonmembers. Attendees will also get to see "Smokey Robinson presents Human Nature: The Motown Show," a critically acclaimed musical quartet from Australia.

The deadline for early registration savings of $100 is May 23.
