Berger, Thaler named in 'The Hill's' top lobbyists

NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler Wednesday were named top association lobbyists for 2014 by The Hill.

According to The Hill, "Berger, who has led the group since 2013, and Thaler work to ensure credit unions retain a voice amid talk of financial rules and regulations."

Berger attributed the honors to a successful team effort involving NAFCU's staff and members. "It is always an honor to be recognized as one of the top lobbyists in Washington, but the praise and distinction really goes to NAFCU's entire government affairs team, who work extremely hard on Capitol Hill as well as with the administration," he said. "Much credit also goes to our politically active members that support our efforts with their grassroots activities."

This is the 12th year Berger has been named to the list and the seventh year for Thaler.
