Discounts today on NAFCU's mortgage servicing rules webcast

Today is the last day to save $100 when registering for NAFCU's April 28 webcast, "CFPB's Proposed Changes to Mortgage Servicing Rules." The webcast begins at 2 p.m. Eastern.

This webcast will highlight the proposed changes CFPB made to the mortgage servicing rules, including expansion of the rule to cover "successors in interest" who receive mortgaged property pursuant to death or divorce of the original borrower; addition of a loss mitigation application and evaluation requirements; and continuation of periodic statement requirements for bankrupt borrowers with specialized post-bankruptcy forms.

John DeLoach, president of Williams, Gautier, Gwynn, DeLoach & Sorenson P.A., will focus on proposed rule changes, potential impacts on credit unions' servicing processes and how to manage compliance requirements under a final rule.

Thursday, credit unions will learn seven ways to innovate their aging branch models for maximum impact in a webcast led by John Mathes, director of brand strategy at Weber Marketing Group.
