North Dade Community Development FCU liquidated

NCUA announced the liquidation of North Dade Community Federal Credit Union in Miami Gardens, Fla., because of what it deemed to be violations of the credit union's charter, bylaws and federal regulations.

North Dade is the second federally insured credit union to be liquidated this year. Chartered in 1997, it served 616 members and had assets of $3 million.

NCUA said its Asset Management and Assistance Center will contact individuals with verified share accounts at North Dade. The agency invited those with additional questions to call the Center toll free at 877-715-0777 or to go to MyCreditUnion.gov for more information.
