NAFCU at NCUA panel on outreach to Hispanic members

NAFCU staff will attend NCUA's panel discussion today on the challenges and opportunities of serving Hispanic members of credit unions. The event begins at 2 p.m. Eastern and will be livestreamed.

NAFCU Senior Regulatory Affairs Counsel Michael Emancipator and Regulatory Compliance Counsel Elizabeth LaBerge will attend the discussion at NCUA headquarters in Alexandria, Va. NCUA released three videos describing the event and noting the importance of diversity for credit unions.

NCUA Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives Director William Myers, with a panel including credit union leaders, a consulting firm and an agency supervisory examiner, will highlight various opportunities credit unions have to better serve Hispanic members and the challenges that coincide with those opportunities.
