Nominating ballots sent for NAFCU Board election

The nominating ballots for the NAFCU 2015 board elections were sent Monday to members. This year, voting for the two at-large, as well as Region I seats will be conducted online for the first time.

At-large candidates on the nominating committee's slate are:

  • Robert Fisher (Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, Fla.);
  • Edmond Jordan (Essential Federal Credit Union, formally Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union, La.);
  • Mark Lesnau (North Carolina Community Federal Credit Union, N.C.);
  • James Quinn (Pentagon Federal Credit Union, Va.);
  • Debra Schwartz (Mission Federal Credit Union, Calif.); and
  • Issa Stephan (First Financial Federal Credit Union, N.J.).

On the committee's slate for the Region I seat is Gary Easterling (United Federal Credit Union, Mich.).

At-Large Director Debra Schwartz is an incumbent running for reelection. At-Large Director Cutler Dawson (Navy Federal Credit Union, Va.) and Region I Director Mike Parsons (First Source Federal Credit Union, N.Y.) this year will complete their third consecutive three-year terms, the maximum allowed under the NAFCU bylaws.

Nominating ballots must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on March 16. Official ballots for voting in both the at-large and Region I (if applicable) elections will be sent on April 6.
