NAFCU's offices will be closed Oct. 12, Columbus Day, but members will still have access to the association's website for research purposes, event registrations and email contacts with NAFCU.

NAFCU's next webcast, "Effectively Using the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool," is scheduled for Oct. 20; registration discounts apply through Oct. 13.

While the association's offices are closed Monday, several NAFCU staff and credit union leaders from around the country are gathering in Chicago over the weekend to kick off NAFCU's Management and Leadership Institute. The program begins Monday with a networking session, an all-day workshop with John Spence ("The Leader of the Future") and group project meetings. MLI continues through noon Friday, Oct. 16.
