NCUA webinar Oct. 15 eyes fair lending compliance for CUs
NCUA will host a free webinar sponsored by the Federal Reserve at 2 p.m. Eastern Oct. 15 for credit unions on how to comply with fair lending laws.
The speakers for the webinar ("2015 Interagency Fair Lending Hot Topics") include Jamie Goodson, director of the consumer compliance policy and outreach division within NCUA's Office of Consumer Protection, along with experts from the Federal Reserve Board, CFPB, FDIC, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Justice Department and Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The webinar will address the following:
- mortgage lending developments;
- using data to assess fair lending risk;
- compliance management;
- pricing;
- maternity leave discrimination;
- post-origination risks; and
- auto lending settlements.
NAFCU's compliance team has published recent articles in the association's member-only Compliance Monitor that cover fair lending compliance for credit unions.
