NCUA training details CU merger best practices

For credit unions considering a merger and want to learn about the process, benefits and best practices, NCUA's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives has created a new three-part online video training module.

The module looks at the current trends in mergers, when a credit union board of directors should think about a merger and proper negotiating techniques that keep the credit unions' best interests in mind.

NCUA said those credit unions that successfully complete the quiz at the end of the module, will earn a certificate of completion.
