CFPB webpage helps settlement agents navigate TRID
A new CFPB webpage is designed to help settlement professionals navigate through the TILA-RESPA integrated mortgage disclosure rule. The page includes specific information about what settlement agent responsibilities have changed because of the rule.
The webpage also highlights three areas settlement agents may want to focus on to help ensure a smooth and on-time closing.
Additional resources provided on the webpage include a detailed interactive guide to the disclosure forms, a home loan toolkit and a real estate professional's guide.
