NAFCU member call today eyes new administration's impact on CUs

Credit union leaders participating in today's NAFCU member call-in, "4Q Advocacy Update," will learn from NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and the association's top governmental affairs staff what potential impacts a Trump administration will have on the industry's regulatory burden and supervision.

NAFCU's call-in, slated for 4 p.m. Eastern, is provided free as a benefit of membership in NAFCU, but registration is required.

Joining Berger on the call will be NAFCU Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt and senior members of the association's government affairs team.

The call-in will feature potential changes at key federal agencies and departments, including CFPB and NCUA. It will also address NAFCU's ongoing efforts to ensure the preservation of the credit union tax exemption, win national data security standards for merchants, reduce the burden and achieve more clarity in mortgage rules, and more.
