NAFCU met with key lawmakers and policymakers on the first day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Monday to bring the regulatory burden on credit unions to their attention and tell the story of the good work credit unions are doing for their members across the country.

NAFCU Board Vice Chair Jeanne Kucey (CEO and president of JetStream Federal Credit Union in Miami Lakes, Fla.), Vice President of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler and Associate Directors of Legislative Affairs Gaurav Parikh and Allyson Browning advocated on behalf of credit unions. They will be joined later this week by Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Carrie Hunt.
