July webcasts: IT exams, data analytics, more

Credit union management and staff can get timely, helpful guidance on preparing for NCUA IT exams, putting data analytics tools to best use and staying abreast of Bank Secrecy Act risks during NAFCU's series of July webcasts. Register early to save.

On July 6, CliftonLarsonAllen Principal Tom Schauer will explain how best to prepare for an NCUA IT exam and how to be proactive in response to new exam updates. He will also cover crucial topics like the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's Information Security Handbook, board and supervisory committee reporting and risk assessment. The early-bird deadline for registration savings on this webcast is Wednesday.

On July 12, Lafayette Federal Credit Union Vice President of Risk Management Lynne English will present on the relationship between BSA risk assessment and automated transaction monitoring, and what examiners expect of credit union automated monitoring systems. The early-bird deadline for registration savings is July 5.

On July 13, David Heneke and Ryan Merryman, of CliftonLarsonAllen, will present on how to perform data analytics and analyze the results, including data on loans, accounts payable and employee expenditures. Heneke and Merryman will also compare available data analytics tools and explain the credit union data analytics categories. The early-bird deadline for registration savings is July 6.
