Listening session on NCUA's minority program May 25
On May 25, NCUA will host a listening session on ways it can enhance its Minority Depository Institutions Preservation Program. The event is open to the public and will be available over livestream.
The 90-minute listening session, which begins at 2 p.m. Eastern, will be held at NCUA's headquarters in Alexandria, Va. To attend in person, please register by email to OMWImail@ncua.gov. Registration is also open for the livestream.
During the listening session, NCUA's Office of Minority and Women Inclusion Director Monica Davy will lead a panel of experts – including representatives from the African American Credit Union Coalition and the Network of Latino Credit Unions and Professionals – who will share insights on how to better support and preserve minority depository institutions.
NCUA's Office of Minority and Women Inclusion oversees all agency matters relating to policies for diversity in NCUA's management, employment and business activities.
